Priestley Ing Farm

project code: PFH_19_002    design: 2016   budget: £170k – £190k

“Due to the recent sale of the converted barn we needed help signing off previous works carried out, with the relevant building authorities.”

background

An early 1800’s stone barn, located on a Greenbelt site in West Yorkshire required retrospective planning following some internal works to a dilapidated barn conversion into a five bed family home.

Side note: The client was a builder by trade and took on the internal restoration of the barn himself, solely with the intention of it being a long term family home and due to children flying the nest, the client decided to downsize and sell the fully renovated barn and accompanying farm land. The retrospective planning was necessary for the sale to be legitimised.
