grove tree lane

project code: PFH_19_004    design: 2019   budget: £175k – £225k

“Looking to move to a greener setting and leave London behind to start our family. We want a home that embraces the outdoors in a clean modern envelope.”

background

The existing 1950’s detached bungalow, located in a rural setting in Nottinghamshire, The derelict bungalow is in need of a full overhaul to make the most of its tree wrapped site.

The clients are a young couple in search of their forever home that they can start a family in. They are looking to move from their apartment in central London to find a greener more rural family friendly setting. Their dream is to have field views without the hassle of becoming part time farmers.

This project was carried out as a pre-sales exercise to show the clients a clear visual of what the former bungalow had the potential of becoming.
This was to make them think about their dream home and how their search could be made easier than trying to find the ‘perfect’ plot of land. Like a lot of first time self builders they thought to get what they wanted they had to do a complete new build, this exercise was eye opening for them and their search.
